Biarritz is also best discovered on foot. Along the shoreline, paths link the Rocher de la Vierge, the lighthouse and the beaches, with the ocean as your companion at every step. To the north, the coast continues to Anglet; to the south, the Basque Corniche offers landscapes of cliffs and coves.

For more experienced walkers, the hinterland offers routes between hills, forests, villages and pastures, with views of the Pyrenees. Every route is a chance to take in the landscapes and enjoy the sea air.
